MILLARD Nancy (nee White)

Nancy Millard nee White, attended Pallinup School…her parents were soldier settlers at Pallinup on a farm named “Whiteworth” - a combination of her father’s surname and her mother’s. (Wentworth).
Nancy worked for the House family as a tutor at ‘Privett’ after leaving school.
Nancy later married Don Dalgleish - a ‘Rat of Tobruk’ - they lived in Pithara for some time.
Sadly Don passed away...Nancy came back to Gnowangerup and later married Charlie Stoer who joined her living in Gnowangerup town and was working at Stanes Garage.

Nancy had always loved the cars her parents owned, as is easy to understand as you read her many descriptions and mentions of cars and trucks in her later writings of her childhood.
Nancy lived in Albany for the rest of her life and
was long time President of the Veteran Widows Association.
